International Student Workshop 2010 - Summary -

The fourth GCOE International Student Workshop was again held at I&I Land in Shijonawate from November 7 to 10, 2010. This year, 53 graduate students (10 each from the University of California, Davis and the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Beijing, and 33 from the Graduate School of Biological Sciences, NAIST) participated in the Workshop. All of the students gave oral presentations in English about their research, and engaged in stimulating and wide-ranging discussions afterwards. During these four days in a closed environment, the three groups of students established close personal relationships and enjoyed stimulating academic and cultural interactions.
