NAIST Global COE International Symposium 2010 Plasticity in Development and Evolution

The global COE program "Frontier Bioscience Global Program: Adaptation- and Survival-strategies in a Changing Global Environment" has been started in NAIST 2007. We will have the 5th International symposium of the COE program in September 11, 2010. The symposium will focus on the frontier in biology and international scientists will be giving talks in various fields of biology. You are cordially invited to participate in the symposium.

Theme Sensing, Signaling and Cell Adaptation
Cells are surrounded by environments that are changing continually. For the adaptation to those environments, cells use sensing and signaling systems. Many scientists in various fields have been interested in these systems. The aim of this meeting is to bring together researchers for better understanding the sophisticated and complex mechanism to support such systems.
We are very lucky to have an opportunity to invite overseas leading-edge scientists including Prof. P. Walter who is well known as one of " "THE CELL" authors, in addition to researchers in NAIST. Why don't you join the meeting and get in touch with them?
Language Language used in this symposium is English.
